OUR TEAM

Carlo De La Cruz

Carlo and his yoga practice has and continues to evolve in a way that is harmonious to the physical body and creates serenity and focus within the mind. To be aware of the present moment, to feel within the body, and to stay connected to the moment's experience using breath and movement, while staying in integrity to the intent of the practice, is how he entices personal empowerment from those who share their time to practice.

What started off as a physical complement to his movements as a rock climber, his practice has grown to what he describes as a moving meditation. His backround as a teacher stems from the healing aspects of a Forrest Yoga inspired practice to a fluid, mindfully sequenced Vinyasa that is accessible to everyone by using modifications and props.

Thomas Cobb, L.Ac.

Thomas Cobb L.Ac. â€‹believes in the body's ability to achieve balance and describes acupuncture and herbal medicine as the perfect guide for directing our innate healing mechanisms toward the root cause of illness.

After receiving his Bachelor's of Science from the University of Central Florida, Thomas earned his Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from a four year program at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco.  He is founder and head practitioner of Oakland's Left Coast Acupuncture.

Austin Gresham, L.Ac.

Austin's first taste of Traditional Chinese Medicine came as an herbal decoction purchased in a Shanghai pharmacy.  Since that day, he has plunged into the study of this ancient art, translating classics, shadowing acupuncturists in Chinese hospitals, and deepening his understanding of the mind-body connection.

His education includes an undergraduate degree in Mandarin Chinese from Wofford College and a masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  With Low Tide Restorative, Austin hopes to bring the profound health benefits of acupuncture to a larger community.
